PROJECT

The launch of 988, a new three-digit code for crisis care and suicide prevention, marked a historic moment in the U.S. but that doesn't mean it came without challenges. There's misinformation about what 988 is and how it works. There's still a stigma attached to mental health services.

I worked alongside a team of designers to launch an organic and paid 988 campaign, focusing on approachable, educational design and messaging. The campaign tagline, Hope Has A New Number, served as a source of inspiration on social and OOH ads, receiving national media coverage.

We crafted a social campaign meant to educate and inspire. Bringing hope and levity to those struggling with mental health. Our focus was making Vibrant a source of knowledge and community, bringing in powerful elements like handwritten notes.

RESULTS

The campaign earned 34M paid impressions and drove 43k users to the 988 Lifeline website.
